Day 10 Recap: Balancing Appetite, Exercise, and Well-being
The night brought with it a significant hunger, leading me to wake up around 4 AM and consume a sizable portion of rolled oats and yogurt. This nighttime appetite seems to be one of the more challenging aspects to manage during this trial.
Despite the early morning wake-up and eating session, I've been feeling generally good, with no serious side-effects from the medication. It's reassuring to note the absence of any adverse reactions that impact my daily functioning or overall health.
Today's main physical activity was a 90-minute football session, where I felt I performed well. However, my stamina was a limiting factor, particularly noticeable in the last 30 minutes of play. It's a reminder of the physical demands of such intense activities and the importance of conditioning.
After burning 1123 calories during football, I opted for a substantial dinner consisting of salmon, vegetables, and rice. While it seemed like a reasonable choice given my exertion, the quantity proved to be more than what was comfortable, leaving me feeling overly full.
This day has been a mix of managing a strong appetite, especially at night, maintaining my physical activity, and navigating the effects of increased food intake. It's a delicate balance to strike, ensuring that I fuel my body adequately for my activities while not overindulging, even when my exertion levels are high.
