Day 4 Update: Steady Progress

Last night, my sleep was fairly good, and notably, I didn't wake up to eat, which marks a change from the previous nights.

My breakfast was light, consisting of yogurt and oats. The weigh-in this morning showed further weight loss, with my scale reading 96.4 kg (212 lbs). It's becoming increasingly clear that my appetite remains limited and is easily satisfied, continuing the trend from the previous days.

Today's physical activities included a brisk run after taking my dog for a walk. The weather was pleasant during the walk, but it took a dramatic turn just as I started my run. I found myself caught in a sudden spell of freezing rain and light hail. The inclement weather, rather unexpectedly, served as a motivator to maintain a decent pace, as slowing down in the cold was less than appealing.

However, after completing the run and during my stretching routine, I experienced a spell of dizziness, similar to the previous day. This again could be attributed to low blood sugar. It's a point of concern that I'll need to monitor, especially since it seems to be occurring post-exercise.

Overall, it's been a day of steady progress, both in terms of weight management and physical activity, albeit with some unexpected weather challenges and a recurring issue of dizziness to keep an eye on.

The evening brought with it a slight deviation from my recent pattern of eating. For dinner, I indulged in pizza, a choice that led me to eat beyond what my current reduced appetite would dictate. However, it's noteworthy that the quantity I consumed was still less than what I would typically eat in the past.

This indulgence resulted in a feeling of being very full for the remainder of the evening, teetering on the edge of what was comfortable. This experience serves as a reminder of the importance of not overindulging, especially given the noticeable changes in my appetite and eating habits since starting this trial.

It's a valuable lesson in understanding and respecting my body's new signals of satiety, and a reminder to be more mindful of portion sizes, even when faced with favorite or tempting foods. Moving forward, I'll aim to be more attentive to these cues to maintain the balance I've been cultivating.
