Day 3 Recap: Noticeable Changes and New Experiences
Last night was another instance of peaceful sleep, contributing positively to my overall well-being. However, a slight irregularity was observed in my bowel movement, which was looser than usual but thankfully didn't escalate to diarrhea or cause any further inconvenience throughout the day.
An exciting development was my morning weigh-in: I registered 97.7 kg (215 pounds). This shows a significant drop from my initial weight. While this could be attributed to normal weekly weight fluctuations, it's an encouraging sign nonetheless.
My physical activity for the day included a half-hour jog to the football field, followed by an hour of playing football. The session was of low intensity but surprisingly tiring. A unique experience occurred during the exercise – a brief moment of dizziness, possibly due to low blood sugar, something I haven't encountered before during physical activities.
A continued and remarkable observation is the persistent loss of appetite. Making decisions against snacking or additional eating has become notably easier. Even when hunger is noticeable, I find no difficulty in waiting until my next scheduled meal. Interestingly, a small amount of food now suffices to divert my attention from further eating. The almost complete absence of 'food noise', especially outside my planned meals, is a stark contrast to my previous experiences with dieting.
Considering these changes, if what I'm experiencing is merely the placebo effect, it's incredibly strong. My historical struggles with managing food cravings and calorie intake make this current experience all the more striking. The lack of food noise, in particular, is a profound change that I have never managed to achieve before in my attempts at dietary control.
